Attention All You Sharp-eyed Video Buffs

For those of you with QuickTime and either a high-speed Internet connection or enhanced dial-up, reader R.C. has written in to tell us that our Disneyland 50^th Anniversary bash video (Video Supplement: Disneyland Disneyanamania) seems to contain a Hidden Mickey.

I was watching your video of the overnight experience before Disneyland's 50th on July 17th, and I spotted a Hidden Mickey.

It's the fourth scene, about 1:28 into the video, right after the line "You're still in DCA." The gentleman in the dark shirt leaning back against the Coca-Cola mural seems to have grown some mouse ears!

Just thought you'd like to know.

We checked, he's right. It's there. Our one-man coverage crew, C. W. Oberleitner, tells us that after more sleepless hours than he could count and a few rested ones spent assembling the video footage, he never noticed this particular one-of- a kind Hidden Mickey.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the term, Hidden Mickey refers to those ubiquitous three-circle silhouettes of Mickey Mouse that Disney Cast members of all kinds like to sneak into everything from Disney theme park attractions to animated and live action feature films.
